EUR/USD rises toward 1.3400, hits fresh daily highs

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The EUR/USD jumped in the last minutes from 1.3350 to 1.3385, reaching a fresh daily high. The Euro was able to erase all losses against the US dollar, after falling to 9-month lows earlier at 1.3332.

A decline in the USD/JPY below 102.00 triggered volatility across the forex market, pushing the US dollar to the downside. The EUR/USD beneficiated and rose toward 1.3400.

After hitting 1.3385 the pair pulled back and it was trading around 1.3370/75, at the same price it had at the beginning of the day.
